It must be zombie love: Han Solo is feeding Leia momma-bird style. |
Here's a scary thought: Star Wars as a zombie flick. From the looks of this poster from
Neatoshop, Luke has been dead for a while.

We can assume that his encounter with the Lord Vader (who, of course, is a high zombie...if there ever was such a thing) left him wounded and infected. Slowly but surely, the disease took over his body, and although the kolto tank healed his superficial injuries (except for his face), it could not stop the disease from infecting his brain as well. So, somehow, he lost the skin and muscles on his head...possibly from the combination of frostbite and the stomach acids from the tauntaun Han thoughtlessly threw him into. Luke awakes with a lust for revenge, then infects Han. The rest of the movie is mostly about the ensuing chaos Luke causes as he infects all the rebels. There is a minor plot focus on how Han's slowly developing disease affects his and Leia's relationship, which leads to the terrifying climax of his beginning to kiss her, only to hold her down and spew diseased sputum into her mouth. As the movie draws to a close, we're left with the dire questions: Will Leia be able to find the cure in time to save herself and Han? Is Luke the next dark zombie lord? Find out in the exciting finale, Return of the Undead Jedi!
