Fiction? Almost.

It's always nice to play a game or watch a movie and see a place that is beyond creepy as hell. If there's anything better than that, it may be the fact that some of these settings are actually based on real places. Cracked.com tells us about 6 Fictional Places You Didn't Know Actually Existed, including Arkham Asylum, Middle Earth, and Silent Hill. I know what you're thinking: finally a place to do all those movie scene re-enactments. Just watch out for monsters.

Ube City has a new eco-mascot, and it looks on heckuva lot like that ever-cuddly, thunderbolt-tailed icon we all (well, not all of us...but if you want to fit in with the younguns, just agree with me here) grew up with.
