It's always nice to play a game or watch a movie and see a place that is beyond creepy as hell. If there's anything better than that, it may be the fact that some of these settings are actually based on real places. Cracked.com tells us about 6 Fictional Places You Didn't Know Actually Existed, including Arkham Asylum, Middle Earth, and Silent Hill. I know what you're thinking: finally a place to do all those movie scene re-enactments. Just watch out for monsters.

Introducing Eyemail: Next up, Mom's Eyephone

Now scientists are working on a contact lens that allows you to have your email sent directly to your eyeball. Not even joking. Didn't these guys SEE that Futurama episode? I know how this goes. First you're enjoying an overly internet-connected life, then you're a zombie. Well, at least they're only making zombie rabbits so far. I kinda want one of those. And a chocolate zombie bunny. Those things look tasty.

Strapped for Cash This Halloween? Problem Solved: Downloadable Masks

I know you're all sitting at home or work hoping some rock will turn over with 75 shiny dollars beneath it which you can use to buy something from your local halloween store's typical costumes, or else someone will come along and hand you a costume. Well, look no further! Techie G.'s got your number. Not really. I actually don't want your phone number. Unless you're a dying millionaire who desperately needs to unload all that cash...then we might have some things to talk about.

Regardless of your current bequeathing status, Super Punch has some great downloadable masks which will only cost you some printer paper (or, if you're REALLY ritzy, you can go down to Kinko's and print that sucker up, maybe get it laminated or something). This one came up a while back, but I was feeling jealous of all of Volum3Plus's infographics. TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME! Anyway, this thing makes me more confused about my identity than when the real zodiac signs changed dates in 2011. I mean, who wants to be a pirate? Really? What are we, hipsters? All I know is, it really tells you how old you are if you have to zoom in to find your birth year. That's just rude, Geek Zodiac.
