Violent Video Games Not to Blame for Hostility in Kids

USA Today reports that violent content in video games does not cause kids to behave violently toward others. While highly competitive games can cause people with certain personality traits to increase in hostility, the study showed that we need to look more at the person and less at their gaming habits for the source of such behavior.

Ecstasy May One Day Lead to New Treatment for Blood Cancers

According to BBC News, a modified form of the drug ecstasy (or MDMA) may be able to stop blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma from spreading. Studies have shown that ecstasy kills off cancer cells inside test tubes, however, the doses needed to do so would be fatal. After chemically re-engineering the drug, scientists were able to create the same cancer-killing results with 1g of modified ecstasy vs. the 100g dose of unmodified ecstasy needed in earlier tests-- an amount that which would be much less toxic to the brain.
While these tests are encouraging, they may not have the same effect when taken out of the test tubes. Still, if there's a treatment that results from these experiments somewhere in the future, it's definitely something to get excited about.

Sexual Personality may lead to infidelity?

According to an article by Huffington Post, cheating once again leads back to sex. Although either gender was just as likely to be unfaithful in a monogamous relationship, the reasons why vary. For the ladies, it's more about feeling unsatisfied by their partner, meanwhile men who were easily aroused or had some "performance anxiety" were more likely to cheat whether or not the sex was good in their relationship.

Solution: date a man uninterested in sex or date a woman who is easily amused and doesn't get bored. Sounds like a romance movie from the 1800's. But with a lot less female fainting.
